The Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts named Nowruz as one of the most important rituals of ancient Iran and added: 12 countries are members of the file for the global registration of the ancient ritual of Nowruz in the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage List. The global registration of Nowruz is held in Niavaran historical cultural complex in Tehran with the aim of guarding, protecting and promoting this intangible world heritage.
Stating that Nowruz has always been a symbol of unity, affection, friendship and peace for Iranians, Darabi added: “Many works and poems have been written about Nowruz in the past, and Islam and Shiism have also put a seal of approval on Nowruz.”
Conditions should be provided for tourists who have a religious excuse / preserving the sanctity of Ramadan
Darabi mentioned cultural continuity throughout history as one of the characteristics of Iranians and added: due to the similarity of Nowruz 1402 with the holy month of Ramadan, suitable conditions should be provided to host travelers and people who have a religious excuse in museums and bases while preserving the sanctity of Ramadan. .
He emphasized on the order of the Prophet of Islam to make your people good in this month and stop evil from people and pointed out 10 things and obligations of Nowruz 1402 that should be taken into consideration.
Nowruz programs should be stream-forming
The deputy of cultural heritage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage pointed out the importance of innovation, creativity and initiatives in programs and added: Programs should be flow-makers and help social mobility. Our duty is to contribute to the social vitality and benefit of the cultural, political and social atmosphere of the country and to improve the state of the society.
The central program and priority of quality over quantity, coordination communication between the highest levels to the lowest provincial levels, planning and paying attention to the production of content suitable for audiences and different age groups, paying attention to cultural and media attachments, planning for the participation of local people, associations, semans and non-governmental organizations. Planning for mobilizing other institutions and conveying expectations, using new methods in storytelling, holding various programs in collections with the aim of increasing knowledge were among the points emphasized by the Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage.
He expressed hope that we can be worthy servants for the people and prepare innovative programs considering the symmetry of Nowruz and the holy month of Ramadan.
