According to Kental Iran Travel report, quoted by Mehr, Ludmar Gonzalez Aguilarento, while visiting the investment and coastal tourism capacities of Abadan and Arvandroud ports before noon today, emphasized to the journalists: Brazil is examining the capabilities of the total ports of Khuzestan and investment opportunities. In Abadan port as well as coastal tourism capacity in Arvandrud is also part of these studies.
Pointing out that Brazilian economic activists are eager for commercial activities in the field of oil and fuel products, he said: “There is an important part of the capacity of this type of investment in Imam Khomeini Port (RA).
Aguilarento continued: “Definitely, in order to better understand these economic capacities, I will make a separate trip to Imam Khomeini Port (RA) in order to get to know the investment opportunities in this port complex.”
The ambassador of Brazil in Iran further announced that the amount of trade between the two countries in 2021 will be around 1.2 billion dollars and added: In 2022, this amount will increase by 2 times to 4.2 billion dollars, which, taking into account the indirect trade of this 2 countries, the volume of these exchanges can be estimated at more than seven billion dollars.
He described Iraq as a suitable market for transit and export of goods and said: Abadan port is close to this country, which can provide the basis for the development of trade in the field of export and transit of Brazilian goods.
