According to Salam No report, quoted by IRNA, Hugh Mochin, in a meeting with the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of East Azerbaijan on Sunday, added: Following the visit of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China, a 25-year contract was signed and in line with cultural exchanges. And after visiting Tehran and Ardabil, we have traveled to Tabriz to further explore the fields of cooperation.
He stated: Based on this, the bilateral introduction of tourism capacities will be carried out in the joint agreement of the Shanghai Museum of China and the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of East Azerbaijan.
Mochin considered the joint cooperation and interactions between the Shanghai Museum of China and the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of East Azerbaijan to identify the tourism capacities of the two sides as important and very decisive.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of East Azerbaijan also said in this meeting: According to the interest and desire of the head of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and Art in the direction of strengthening cultural relations with the historical city of Tabriz, it was decided to make the necessary planning to introduce the historical attractions of Tabriz in Shanghai Museum to be done.
Ahmed Hamzezadeh continued: Considering that this year, the 11th edition of the Tangible Historical Heritage Conference in the History of Humanity will be held in Shanghai, therefore the presence of East Azerbaijan during this conference will play a significant role in the introduction of historical works and buildings of the province. .
He stated: Before this exhibition of cultural and artistic works of Chinese artists was held in Tehran and Isfahan, and with the announcement of East Azerbaijan’s readiness to host this exhibition in one of the historical buildings of Tabriz, as well as a similar exhibition in the Shanghai Museum with the presence of artists. Province, necessary interactions are carried out.
Hamzezadeh announced the readiness of both sides to conclude a joint memorandum of cooperation and added: In this context, holding a tour to familiarize tourism activists and Chinese handicraft artists with the tourism capacities of East Azerbaijan was on the agenda.
According to IRNA, East Azerbaijan is considered among the top five provinces of the country in the field of tourism and cultural heritage due to having more than 2,000 historical monuments and buildings.
