The latest situation of marine tourism in Iran
According to Kental Iran Travel report, quoted by Mehr, Hasan Beyk Mohammadlou, Deputy Director of Planning, Development, Management and Resources of the Ports and Maritime Organization regarding the approval of three paragraphs of the draft general policies of sea-oriented development, said: These general policies have been approved for several years, but they are not implemented because These are inter-departmental policies (Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Ministry of Oil, Ministry of Cultural Heritage) and no one pays attention to inter-departmental issues.

He went on to add: “Maritime tourism was supposed to be given facilities and they would receive gasoline subsidies, but the Ministry of Petroleum did not accept the burden of this facility. On the other hand, marine tourism is one of the sectors that can help the economy, but because cruise ships are expensive, why not?” In Iran, we have a few sea ships or a few passenger ships are working, but facilities are not given for them, for example, during the World Cup, due to the facilities that were not given and the high costs of the cruise ship, we lost time. we lost.

The Vice President of Planning, Development, Management and Resources of the Ports and Maritime Organization regarding the entry of the private sector into Mehr said: The private sector is willing to invest and considering that there is no trust between the government and the private sector, most of the ships are currently private. Considering that the government not only does not provide facilities, but also stonewalls, for example, the Ministry of Oil is not willing to subsidize gasoline and fueling is not done under load, considering that gasoline is used for ships at the free rate of the Persian Gulf. On the other hand, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage stigmatizes biological destruction and destroys the tourism economy.
