This city has two very important ports, Ganaveh port, the center of the city, and Rig port, which play an important role in maritime trade, fishing, tourism, and sea-based economy, and are considered among the well-known ports in the country and in the region.

Ganaveh port is one of the most important tourist and commercial ports of the country and Bushehr province, which hosts millions of compatriots from all over the country every year due to its commercial and tourism situations.

Despite all the unique locations and features of this beautiful port, it has many problems in terms of basic infrastructure that is the basis of progress.

One of the important features of Ganaveh is its port and coastal location, where most of the people earn their living and the occupation of their ancestors and most of the people of this region is dependent on it.

Although the sea and seafaring are very important in the life of the people of the region and even in the country, whether in the form of trade or fishing, but the port infrastructure is not provided in this city as it should be.
