According to Kental Travel report, quoted by IRNA, Kamran Hosseini said: There are a total of 280 hectares of coherent historical fabric in the center of Borujerd city, and the existence of historical monuments and houses can play an effective role in the development of tourism in this city.

He added: Among the historical houses of Borujerd is the historical house of Ayatollah Borujerdi, located on Safai Street in Borujerd, which is built in the form of a central courtyard and on 2 floors, and one of the important spaces of this historical house is “Madras”, which is actually the classrooms of Ayatollah Borujerdi. Allah was Boroujerdi.

Hosseini said: Necessary follow-ups have been done so that this space, which is very popular with tourists, can be visited during Nowruz holidays.

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Borujerd said: Another historical house in Borujerd is the Iftikhar al-Islam historical house, which is now used as a museum, and in a part of this house, crafts related to Warsaw-making are displayed.

He added: The historic house of Iftikhar al-Islam was registered as a national monument on March 24, 2003 under number 11753.

Hosseini added: This historical house was built in the style of Qajar era buildings on 2 floors and has an introverted plan and a central courtyard, which was decorated with brick and some tiling.

He reminded: the historical houses of Borujerd were built according to the type of climate and social structure that prevailed in the region, so that architectural engineering in accordance with the climate of Borujerd in the construction of historical houses is one of the prominent features of these works.
