Hosseinipour stated that our policy is to turn Mazandaran tourist hub of the Islamic world, and said: A significant part of the money that the countries of the region received from our countrymen through tourism projects is by attracting foreign tourists and the presence of tourists from the region to the country. The governor of Mazandaran said: We have 3,600 villages in the province, and all our villages can be the focus of ecotourism.

The governor of Mazandaran, stating that this province ranks first in the country in terms of tourist arrivals, said: 20 million tourists visited the province during Nowruz this year.

He continued: 21% of the country’s population reaches Mazandaran within three hours, and this human resource should be fully utilized for economic prosperity centered on tourism.
