History of Dad Hotel
The history of Dad Hotel dates back to the early years of this century. This building was built in 1928 as Dad Freight Company by the efforts of Haj Abdul Khaleq Dad, with the use of motel and goods transportation, and it was used until 1993.
The renovation and reconstruction of this complex with the aim of preserving its historical identity was started by the founder’s children and grandchildren in 2001 with the efforts of Haj Mohammad Hassan Dad. It was put into operation as a 4-star hotel in 2007. Dad Hotel is a memory of 80 years ago, located in the historical center of the 3000-year-old Yazd city, in the old context and in the vicinity of well-known cultural heritage works such as the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Amir Chakhmaq Complex.
The combination of adobe and thatch, which is one of the oldest materials used by desert dwellers, along with arches and very beautiful skylights in the corners is one of the architectural effects of this hotel.
