Padideh Shandiz Restaurant, Kish Island

Padideh Shandiz Restaurant in Kish is one of the island’s best, known for its spacious environment and unique services like transfer options. Opened in 2010, it features a 100-ton anchor that took 35 days to build and is listed in the Guinness World Records. This anchor, along with the restaurant’s façade resembling the ancient Gate of Babylon, makes it a tourist attraction.

The restaurant spans 6,500 square meters and can host around 2,200 guests simultaneously. The exterior design, adorned with symbolic animal motifs and a statue inspired by the historic Zabol Gate, reflects the grandeur of the Achaemenid Empire. The modern, luxurious interior, including a glass floor, further enhances its appeal.

Padideh Shandiz is highly popular for its quick service, great amenities, and diverse menu. Despite mixed reviews about the food quality, the restaurant’s beautiful, family-friendly setting attracts many visitors. It’s considered one of the largest indoor restaurants globally, capable of serving 2,000 people at once.
